The Marty’s Party and Golf Event is a tribute to the enduring impact of his acts of kindness, ensuring that his legacy of selfless giving continues to shine brightly in our hearts and communities. Your sponsorship, donation, and participation will help us make a real impact in Marty’s name!
We’ll kick off the day with a golf tournament and party it up at the Harrisburg Hilton while enjoying a gourmet buffet, open bar, entertainment by JT Hodges, and a live and silent auction. All proceeds will benefit Marty’s favorite charities, The Nativity School, and the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club.

Nittany Lion Wrestling Club
Marty loved all sports, including wrestling. He had such respect for Cael Sanderson and the values he instilled in his wrestlers that he became an avid fan of the team. When Cael wanted to start the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club (NLWC) outside of the Penn State wrestling program in order to help the best young wrestlers from any school achieve world status as professional wrestlers, Marty was on board!
The Nativity School of Harrisburg incorporates faith in its teaching to encourage, teach, and mentor inner-city boys who want an education but need extra support to excel. The School has made such an impact on so many young men that they are now returning to help mentor the younger generation of boys in the school. The School is helping to break the cycle of poverty through an inspiring, hands-on education!
Entertainment
J.T. Hodges
Introducing our entertainment, the multitalented J.T. Hodges, American country music sensation and actor. Bursting onto the scene in 2011, he inked a deal with Show Dog-Universal Music, setting the stage for a remarkable musical journey. With an album under his belt and three charting singles on the Hot Country Songs chart, J.T.’s star has only continued to rise. Beyond the stage, he has transitioned into the world of cinema, starring in three films and currently filming a fourth. 2023 marked the release of “Canton is Calling,” an anthem that solidified his place in the music industry as the official song for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

A Legacy of Love and Goodwill
Marty lived life to the fullest, and he enjoyed sharing the fun with others. He also loved to help people get started in business and truly wanted to celebrate their success. Acknowledgment of his help was never what he wanted, as he often assisted anonymously. He had strong faith and told people how his life got better when he started attending church. His faith led him to help two organizations that were near and dear to his heart.
Marty would be rolling his eyes at his name being highlighted at an event like this, but he would also be excited to know that you are helping to support two organizations that meant so much to him. Thank you for your support, and now let’s party and play just as Marty would want!
